08 Abril 2018, 09:12 | Crisanna Felipe
Thursday forecast: Warmer with less wind
It will also be a little breezy. Winds will begin to pick up out of the SSW at 10 to 20 miles per hour. There is a slight chance of rain in the forecast for late Wednesday and Friday. A stray shower or two may be present overnight, but most of us will be dry. During the night, considerable cloudiness will join temperatures around 34 degrees for a cool evening. Highs will only be in the mid to upper 60s.
Another chance for showers comes on Monday. Sunday will see much less rain coverage and temperatures should be quite comfortable. This will be our next cold front that will push through. The system we have been monitoring is moving across the state and is carrying with it a lot of Pacific moisture.
Temperatures this weekend will be in the mid-50s, after five straight days where the daytime high never rose above 50 degrees, according to records at Bellingham International Airport. There will be a few clouds from time to time. Don't expect much, though highs will hit the upper 30s.
The storm will be well east of any interstate heading back to MI from the favorite spring break areas by Sunday morning. We'll continue to monitor and update any changes to the forecast. A weak front is expected on Friday.
Our next cold front slowly moves through the area tomorrow.
