Markle allegedly abruptly ended her marriage to Hollywood producer Trevor Engelson. The book written by a well-known royal biographer also contains claims that Markle is a "social climber,"controlling" and "fastidious".

"What's been really exciting, as we talk about this as the transition out of my career.is that the causes that have been very important to me, I can focus even more energy on", Meghan said in her engagement interview with the BBC.

With Prince Harry set to Wednesday former Suits actress Meghan Markle next month, their wedding will be no exception.

Meghan Markle departs from Catalyst Inc, Northern Ireland's next generation science park, March 23, 2018, in Belfast, Nothern Ireland.

Before she added herself to the Queen's payroll in November a year ago, the former Suits actress regularly took to Instagram (she has since deleted her account) to show off Marie's bespoke pieces, such as stack of wire rings and a ring with a half crown of white diamonds.

The former Suits actress has only been engaged to Prince Harry (33) for five months and excitement for the royal wedding on May 19 is at fever pitch, but the new biography throws a little shade on proceedings.

They added that Markle "wants to be Princess Diana 2.0".

Markle, who graduated from Northwestern University, is also a humanitarian who worked with the United Nations on women's issues and was an ambassador for World Vision prior to meeting Harry. Seeing Diana prompted Markle and a friend to collect clothes and toys to donate.

'The couple has asked that 1,200 people, from all corners of the United Kingdom be selected by Lord Lieutenants, include young people who have shown strong leadership and those who have served their communities [to attend the royal wedding],' a spokesperson for Kensington Palace said over Twitter on March 2.
