Tiger Woods leaves fans wanting more after 2nd-place finish at Valspar
Searching for his first PGA win since 2013, Woods was the centre of attention all Sunday, in just his fourth official event back after undergoing spinal fusion surgery.
Casey charged with seven birdies and one bogey in 14 holes, after starting the day five strokes from the lead. Woods is happy with the way his game has progressed this week.
"I felt very comfortable", he said Sunday.
"But Nutta always looked after me and still does to this day and always welcome and watch me at Wentworth, Mary would always tag along and drove up to Scotland to see my very first victory. I probably wasted at least three shots on the front nine".

Healthy of body and mind again after a long road back, the former world No. 1 sits at eight-under 205, one shot off the lead held by Canadian rookie Corey Conners (68), and tied with Tour veterans Justin Rose (66) and Brandt Snedeker (67). "(Adam Scott) played well, he got it up there. He's playing a Top-10 nearly every single week he's played (like that) over the last five, six months. So, you know, a traditional Sergio experience. I hadn't played there in a couple years because of my back and I wanted to play there a couple years ago. I wanted to play one last time before he moved on and unfortunately I just couldn't play. I've won my share of events here and overseas and so I like to be one back or near the lead.
"I'm up there", Woods said.
'It was also going to be a very hard week, tough conditions on a tough course, but I thought I held up really well'.
For the week, Woods hit 31 of 52 fairways to tie for 16th in the field; hit 48 of 72 greens in regulation and was eighth in the field in strokes gained - approach shots; he took 111 putts and was 39th in strokes gained putting - including 58th on Sunday.
"There has been a lot [of pressure] and it's got to the point where it's gone the other way, where actually I'm playing very free golf, very relaxed and at peace with whatever happens on the golf course". We'll work on that a little bit and hopefully that will be good by next Thursday. We both played well and it was just an unbelievable environment. [I was] trying to hopefully get a couple good numbers and fire at a few flags.
Back in contention, Woods loves hearing all the noise from the gallery.
