Google developing subscription-based game streaming service called Yeti

Reports claim that the console would leverage a streaming service like Playstation Now
Of course, Google has toyed with gaming for years, as The Information report points out, and failed to ever make a serious play to compete with Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. Initial tests of the service used Chromecast dongles as the TV-connected streaming device. We aren't holding our breath at Shacknews as many stories of Google entering the industry have ended up disappearing like a chat app in the night. Their report suggests that it's codenamed Yeti, and that Google is close to having a streaming hardware box ready to go. There's no word in regards to Yeti's new launch date, but based on what we know, it's possible Google will use the stage at I/O in May to do the official unveiling. Before kick-starting Yeti, Google would have to gather all the necessary permissions at keen prices, I would expect.
PlayStation Now costs United Kingdom users £12.99 a month. The system would be similar to Sony'sPlayStation Now, XboxGamePass and NVIDIA GeForce Now. Google I/O is just three months away... But when playing a game, the user is constantly inputting commands, which means a single lag spike or freeze can ruin the experience.
There were some sources which had claimed that Google will bring the streaming service in the previous year 2017.
Even if Google solves the limitations of game streaming, the model still has one major drawback: The game selection usually sucks. The service offers gamers on the PlayStation 4, and PC the ability to stream PlayStation 2, and 3 - and more recently PlayStation 4 - titles through a subscription service. It too will add a monthly subscription option in future to remove the adverts. That's the million-dollar question. However, with the Games Developers Conference (GDC) scheduled to start in San Francisco on 19 March 2018, we might here more about the project then.
