The animation confirms what SpaceX's officials have begun hinting ever since Monday: the company will try landing all three Falcon boosters after separation, an attempt which, if successful, will mark a new era in space flight technology. While one Falcon 9 has nine Merlin engines in its first stage, Falcon Heavy has 27.
"Every time there's a launch, there's always the possibility it gets scrubbed for anything, weather or technical difficulties, so it always stinks", said Riley Goldman, who also works at Grills.
The other perk of the new system, of course, is its power.
"These satellites are over six tonnes, knowing that the capacity of the rocket is eight tonnes to geostationary transfer orbit (GTO) - if it is fully reused", Rachel Villain, from the leading space consultancy Euroconsult, told BBC News.
SpaceX's Falcon Heavy rocket is seen here at a Kennedy Space Center hangar. It's Musk's pre-owned red Tesla Roadster, complete with a spacesuit-wearing mannequin in the front seat. In addition to SpaceX, he runs the electric vehicle maker Tesla.
While NASA has diverted its attention away from the Red Planet in favour of the closer - and potentially more lucrative - moon, Musk still has loftier ambitions.
Usually there are things like steel or concrete slabs or mundane experiments on test flights. "Extremely tiny", Musk had said.
A launchpad explosion "would not only destroy a piece of heritage, but set back human spaceflight for a long time", says Logsdon. "We are becoming a high-tech hub".
And Mr Musk is not the only entrepreneur developing a commercial heavy-lift solution that promises to dramatically undercut the SLS on cost. But the SpaceX boss knows the coming launch is no sure bet.
Unpredictable effects of the environment, such as changes in air pressure, mean the rocket's precise trajectory can't be worked out prior to launch. The rocket is slated to launch Arabsat 6a, a Saudi Arabian communications satellites, as well as payloads for the companies Inmarsat and Viasat.
"Flight includes landing of the Falcon Heavy first stage core and side boosters as indicated in the license application", the license states.
Rocket makers typically discard their leftover boosters in the ocean.
What's next? The BFR, or Big Falcon Rocket, a behemoth that can deliver almost 30 percent more payload into low-Earth orbit than the Falcon Heavy. But Musk wrote on Instagram Monday that SpaceX will likely use its still-in-development "Big F***ing Rocket" for moon missions instead. At a sticker price of $90 million, the Heavy is a relative bargain. If the flight succeeds, it will be the first true automobile hurled into space.
SpaceX set to launch 'world's most powerful rocket'
Before the Tuesday afternoon launch of the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket , Musk shared some concept art on his Instagram account. SpaceX has successfully landed Falcon 9 rockets on each of those targets after successful missions carrying cargo into orbit.
Donald Trump: Memo 'totally vindicates me'
Will Hurd (R-Texas) said, when asked by host George Stephanopoulos whether he thinks the memo vindicates Trump, "I don't". Moments before, Trump sent a tweet that trumpeted a new approval poll and took a dig at the news media.

The California Democrat also said it is normal in FISA applications not to name individuals who may be sources of information. After months of speculation that she was pregnant with her first child, Kylie Jenner has announced the birth of a baby girl.
