News The World Ends With You Nintendo Switch Nintendo Direct

It came with little fanfare though. That's some collection going on there.

But it's not all just remasters.

Kirby Star Allies got some updates as well and is slated for a March 16 release. Launches in Winter here in Oz. Dark Souls: Remastered represents the first time a Dark Souls game has appeared on a Nintendo console.

"This time the game adds the first story mode since the Mario Tennis: Power Tour game on Game Boy Advance", the trailer touts. Knowing every area of the game's kingdoms will be key. From March 23rd Blastoise will be added as a playable Pokémon, while Mew and Celebi will be support Pokémon.

The Switch version brings together both versions and adds outfits from Breath of the Wild for both Link and Zelda.

After a day filled with long-standing rumors, teasing images and burning chibi-robos, the recently released mini-Nintendo Direct confirmed the existence of Dark Souls: Remastered.

That's exciting news, to be sure, but what about those of us who don't own a Nintendo Switch? Dark Souls: Remastered will also include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC.

Maybe Nomura and Square Enix will prioritize a TWEWY sequel if this Switch port does well.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will be available in "Spring 2018".

Nintendo showed everyone that they aren't quite done with Super Mario Odyssey this morning.

Put simply there's a motherload of games and extra content coming to the Switch to bolster its now healthy lineup. The Dark Souls website has revealed that they're also releasing the Dark Souls Trilogy box set on May 24th. And what a story mode it was.
