Trump's most recent slur confirms he is a racist

At the White House meeting Durbin and Republican Senator Lindsey Graham briefed the president on the newly drafted, bipartisan immigration bill.

Republican Sens. Tom Cotton and David Perdue, who've been close allies to the President on the issue of immigration, were in a White House meeting with him Thursday when Trump, according to sources, expressed frustration with people coming to the USA from "shithole countries".

Special status given to about 59,000 Haitian immigrants, protecting them from deportation following the 2010 natural disaster, will end next year following a Trump administration ruling last month.

Not suprisingly, Trump's comments were met with heavy criticism and condemnation by many.

The US president's remarks, said to have been directed at African nations plus Haiti and El Salvador, were condemned by the United Nations human rights office and labelled "divisive" by members of his own Republican Party.

In a tweet Friday, Trump denied saying "anything derogatory about Haitians". I have a wonderful relationship with Haitians.

Dick Durbin says he had high hopes of securing President Trump's approval of a bipartisan plan for "Dreamers" when he and South Carolina Republican Sen.

More than half of the state's African and El Salvadoran populations live in either Hartford or New Haven counties, while most of the Haitian population lives in Fairfield County, as do most of the state's Norwegians.

Earlier Thursday, Love said in a statement: "The president must apologize to both the American people and the nations he so wantonly maligned".

We have heard from conservatives who defend Mr. Trump and defend this remark. and saying that, well, these countries are shitholes, and that's why people are trying to get out of them.

Trump on Thursday rejected a pitch from a bipartisan team of senators on a compromise immigration deal to protect DACA participants while increasing border security. He also allegedly asked why the country needed more immigrants from Haiti, and said to "take them out".

"Apart from the vocabulary attributed to him, President Trump is right on target in his sentiment", Jeffress said in a statement, first released to the Christian Broadcasting Network and later shared with FOX4. "There are still people who haven't been found", Bastien said.

Trump's comments this week saw a plethora of pundits calling him a "racist". "We even made the ultimate sacrifice when we shed our blood in Savannah", the ambassador said.

Graham said he pushed back at the president - an account that was backed up by Illinois Democratic Sen.

In response to the right-wing defences of Trump's statement, people have slammed them on Twitter. "Turns out they're just like us", Cox said in a Tweet that included pictures of his son with a smiling family.

In a meeting last fall, the president apparently said that a female intelligence expert should be assisting the U.S.in its negotiations with North Korea purely because of her Korean heritage, NBC News reported.

Independent president candidate and BYU graduate Evan McMullin harshly criticized Trump on Twitter.

"This behaviour is unacceptable from the leader of our nation", she said in a statement.
