Alemania e Inglaterra buscan su billete para Rusia 2018

BELFAST, Irlanda (UNIV)._ El campeón del mundo, Alemania, amarró su clasificación a la Copa Mundial Rusia 2018, al asegurar el primer puesto de su grupo en la penúltima fecha de las eliminatorias.

Alemania selló este jueves su boleto rumbo al Mundial de Rusia 2018, con lo que tendrá la oportunidad de revalidar el título que obtuvo en la edición de Brasil, hace tres años. Los campeones del mundo vencieron a Irlanda del Norte 3-1, en tanto que Inglaterra y Polonia derrotaron a Eslovenia (1-0) y Armenia (6-1), de manera respectiva.

"Sabíamos que Irlanda del Norte jugaba muy, muy defensivamente y podían hacerlo bien, así que era importante que estuviéramos en la delantera y el segundo gol fue rápido".
