Violent crime rising throughout US, FBI says
Within San Diego County, there were 32.8 rapes per 100,000 residents a year ago, 83.7 robberies, 210.8 aggravated assaults, 1,850.1 property crimes, 313.2 burglaries, 1,204.5 thefts or larcenies and 332.4 vehicle thefts.
"The difference in those two reporting systems is under uniform crime reporting you could have multiple crimes going on the same incident but only one of those would be reported", said John O'Brien, Public Information Officer for the Spokane Police Department.
Crime across the country and in Dallas is still at a low compared to the 1980s and 1990s. There were 7,710 motor vehicle thefts reported in 2016 - an nearly 50 percent increase over the year before.
President Trump frequently cited the threat of violent crime, even though those rates have tumbled in recent years, while on the campaign trail.
"False narratives about a national crime wave will not help".
These numbers come from the FBI's "2016 Crime in the United States", an annual data resource tracking the reported numbers of homicides, robberies, rapes and other crimes across city, state and national levels.
In 2010, the total was 88,342, representing an 18 percent decline during Malloy's 6 years on office, he said. However, California was coming off historic lows in 2014. Murder/manslaughter cases were up from two in 2015 to eight previous year, while the number of rape cases increased by four, from 44 to 48, during that same time. "Five neighborhoods in Chicago explain 10% of the national increase in homicide rates".
Sessions has also been a proponent of the theory that crime has risen as scrutiny of local police has intensified and hurt morale, causing officers to be less aggressive on the streets. For South Carolina, there were 25,000 violent crimes and almost half of Georgia's murder count.
Mission Viejo saw a significant decrease in violent crime incidents, from 86 in 2015 to 75 past year, with a drop in rapes from 14 to seven.
Sessions, who has tied some of his policy pushes to the increase in crime, said Monday that the Justice Department would fight what he described as a "rising tide of violent crime" nationwide. Small towns experienced a significant increase in homicides, but it was still less than half of that seen in big cities (8.4% vs. 20.3%).
Federal Bureau of Investigation figures show that that same crop of cities broadly outperformed the national average when it came to driving down property crimes: Santa Clara was among decrease leaders at a 21.4 percent change, with Walnut Creek, Palo Alto, Los Gatos and San Francisco all posting double-digit percentage drops. Violence increased 3.9 percent in 2015, while killings jumped by more than 10 percent.

They discuss Lesnar's war with Strowman and Renee says a lot of people were expecting to see Braun leave with the Title tonight. He held the submission for quite a while until Strowman escaped via a rope break and followed that up with a big spinebuster.
Penn State Survives Iowa
That game, like Michigan-Iowa, also came in Week 10, and it all but officially ended Penn State's bid for a national title. And when he caught the ball? "Coach Moorhead has endless amounts of ideas about getting guys in space", Stevens said.
