Game of Thrones Spoils of War
It was over 10 minutes of breathtaking action and, just like the monumental effect it had on the Game of Thrones audience, it also took a monumental amount of effort to put together. It would be cool if Jon ended up burnt somehow by Drogon or another dragon and it was revealed he is a true dragon like Dany, in that fire can not kill him.
Yes, it's even better than Battle of the Bastards, and that was a glorious fight.
After leaking two episodes of Game of Thrones and script material from an unaired episode of the show, hackers have demanded a ransom of $7.5 million in bitcoin from HBO.
If you've followed along this far, there's one theory that's more popular than the rest involving Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and a single bloodline. Her behaviour does not sit well with her Hand, Tyrion Lannister, who starts looking at her in a different light (that's tinged with Targaryen madness?).
They are far from the only people at Dragonstone anxious though, as we see Varys sitting at the map table of Westeros. Indeed, whether it be Jon, Tyrion, or Varys, all seem convinced that they must convince Daenerys of the danger that is lurking in the North. We heard from Cersei briefly, but the trailer was much more concerned with letting us know the Night King's army of the dead was coming and building tension that way. Not in the picture is her usual partner, Jaime Lannister, indicating that he has not returned from the previous week's battle.
And after a week off, Sam and his studies in Oldtown will return with Gilly. Since he's in his furs, perhaps he's thinking of heading back to Winterfell, or towards, Eastwatch (which gives this episode its title), where he's sent the Free Folk to fend off the White Walkers. This is potentially quite telling: Since season seven began, it's been hinted that the White Walkers will begin their assault on Westeros at Eastwatch-by-the-Sea, the seaside fortress on the Wall's eastern end, now defended only by Tormund Giantsbane and his wildling soldiers.
Franklin is first hurricane of Atlantic season
El Nino, marked by a warming in the equatorial Pacific, can have a big influence on Atlantic storms. A prediction for five to nine hurricanes overall remains unchanged from the initial May outlook.
