Bill Cosby's Accuser Grilled for Alleged Inconsistencies in Story

Andrea Constand, a former Temple University basketball official, told the suburban Philadelphia courtroom Tuesday that she visited the comic's Philadelphia home for career advice.

"I remember wanting to cover myself and not being able to", Johnson said through tears in the Philadelphia suburb of Norristown, where the trial is taking place at the Montgomery County Courthouse. A few weeks later, Sewell said, Johnson disclosed that she had woken up next to Cosby in bed with her clothes askew.

Cosby, 79, is charged with aggravated indecent assault and he could be jailed for 10 years if convicted.

On Wednesday, Cosby appeared to be listening closely to Constand's testimony, his head turned slightly to the side while Brian McMonagle, his other defense attorney, sat next to him. "We have a collective imagination of all of the characters they portray and, because of that, we think that we really know them", Assistant District Attorney Kristen Feden said.

The massage therapist said that she could not move for the next 20-30 minutes.

Constand told jurors she had only spoken with Cosby a handful of times, all related to her administrative job with the women's basketball program at Temple. "I wasn't able to fight in any way".

During her testimony, Cosby "rubbed his forehead and shook his head". She described being unable to resist Cosby that night after complaining to him that the unidentified pills had made her disoriented.

She quoted him as saying - "They'll take the edge off". She testified that she told him she did not. It seemed to be an affectionate - yet suggestive - touch, she said. "I don't want that".

According to CBS This Morning, Cosby's lawyers asked Constand why she stayed in contact with Cosby after he allegedly made inappropriate advances toward her twice before the assault, to which she said she trusted him, and didn't think he'd escalate things further. "And I believed he supported numerous athletic programs". I felt really humiliated.

"It was a very big burden on me, but".

Constand first told her story to Detective David Mason, of the Durham Regional Police near Toronto, when he interviewed her in her Canada home in January 2005. "I can only go based on who I've experienced, and at the end of the day, it's the court's job to find the truth of the matter". Also with him: Frazier's husband, John Atchison, a celebrity hairstylist whose client roster includes Cosby and his wife of more than 50 years, Camille.

Andrea Constand brushed aside pointed verbal jabs from fallen funnyman Bill Cosby's high-priced legal eagles during the third day of his sex assault trial Wednesday.

Cosby says he gave Constand Benadryl to relieve stress, insisting their sexual relations were consensual and accusing her of lying.

Ms Johnson testified on Monday that the comedian had drugged and assaulted her when she worked for the William Morris Agency in 1996.

She said she lost consciousness soon after Cosby pressured her to take a large white pill.

"The room was dark, and there was a nice mood in the room, correct?" she said.

Constand said it took her a year to go to police because she felt intimidated.

It is the same method he is said to have used in the alleged attack on Ms Constand.
